A unique success for the Republic of Belarus from our club’s couple – Egor Boldysh – Polina Mineyeva – made our country famous on the international arena with a silver medal at the European Championship in Romania and a bronze at the World Dance Sport Championship in Japan in 2016!
Egor Boldysh – a 1st year student of Belarusian University for Sport – a pupil of our club since the age of 10 and his partner Polina Mineyeva – a graduate of the Moscow School – this year conquered the highest and no one previously achieved in our country result in dance sport. They achieved results no one in the history of dance sport in our country has ever achieved. Their silver medal of the European Championship and bronze of the World Championship in Standard dance is not only an indicator of their talent and diligence. The main, and the most difficult and impossible thing that these athletes have managed is to make the dance world respect the name of our Motherland – BELARUS, and treat it as a country that carries a real weight in the dance sport arena. In addition, the guys with their personal example have made it clear to thousands of young dancers that they all have a chance with their hard work and effort just to glorify their country and make all their dreams come true!
- It should be noted that children walked steadily towards this result, training hard, sacrificing a lot for the sake of dance, having a huge number of significant victories since childhood.
- Egor and Polina are not only champions of Belarus in this discipline, but also the absolute champions of the Republic of Belarus in 2015 in Standard, Latin Dance and 10 dances, World Championships semi-finalists in 10 dances 2015 and 2014 in Standard.
- THEY ARE 5 TIMES CHAMPIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS (IN LATIN, STANDARD AND 10 DANCES).
- EGOR IS 11! MULTIPLE CHAMPION OF THE COUNTRY FROM THE AGE OF 10, AND FROM THE JUNIOR AGE - A FINALIST OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!
So, their success is natural, but for Belarus and the National Dance Sport Federation of our country, their results are truly UNIQUE and UNCENTRAL!
Most importantly they managed, despite all the twists and turns, various difficulties and hardships, to carry through all the time in their hearts the true love and true faith in this beautiful sport and art.
